Coming to See Aunt Sophie

By Arthur Feinsod
Directed by Dale McFadden

This is the true story of Jan Karski, a humble Catholic courier for the Polish Underground during World War II, who risked his life many times to alert the world with his eye-witness report about the Holocaust. With “coming to see Aunt Sophie” as secret code, the Young Karski (Brandon Wentz) works his way incognito through Nazi-occupied Europe to England, then to United States, while Old Karski (Brad Venable), now a distinguished professor, confronts his younger self as he relives a past that still haunts him. The play had its world premiere this May at the Here and Now Festival in Germany and then toured Poland.

Hours: Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm. Closed Sundays and major holidays.
