Arts Illiana holds Grant Award Ceremony for 2014-15 Regional Initiative Grant Recipients


Arts Illiana announces the 2014-15 Regional Initiative Grant awards for Region Six (Clay, Parke,
Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo Counties.  Arts Illiana administers this statewide grant program on behalf of the Indiana Arts Commission.

There are thirteen organizations receiving funding for the FY2015 grant cycle and represent Clay, Putnam, and Vigo Counties.  This year’s grant recipients will be recognized at a ceremony on October 17, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Arts Illiana, 23 North 6th Street in Terre Haute.   

Indiana State Representatives Clyde Kersey, Alan Morrison, Bianca Gambill, and State Senator Tim Skinner will be in attendance to assist with grant check presentations.  Also attending will be  Jon Ford, Indiana Arts Commissioner representing the Wabash Valley region and Indiana Arts Commission Director of Programs, Paige Sharp.

The event is free and open to the public.

Arts Illiana is the Arts Council for the Wabash Valley with a mission to promote, support, and enhance the arts and cultural activities of the Wabash Valley.
