Gaslight Art Colony, Artist Reception for John Graves and Friends Exhibition

Gaslight Art Colony will open its final exhibit of the 2014 year with an Artists’ Reception for John Graves and his artist friends on Saturday, November 15th from 6:00- 9:00 p.m.  Music for the evening will be provided by Top of the Class and refreshments will be served.  The artists showing in this exhibit have varied talents that include paintings, photography, pottery, painted fabric and painted boxes.

John Graves of Greeenup, IL will show his artwork in pottery and in paintings.  Jan VonBokel of Effingham, IL will have paintings and hand painted scarves.  Diane Rausch of Mattoon, IL will show paintings and painted fabric.  Two of John Graves former students, Gayla Schuett of Villa Grove, IL and Jacob Venatta of Paxton, Il will also be exhibiting.  Gayla will have photography, graphite drawings and watercolors.  Jacob will show his pottery.

Gaslight Art Colony is a Not-for-Profit organization dedicated to broadening an appreciation of the Arts by providing opportunities that promote awareness, participation and understanding through fine arts exhibitions, classes and workshops.  The gallery is located at 516 Archer Avenue in Marshall, IL.
