Artist Bio: Samuel Penaloza was born in Los Angeles, California on June 1994. He spent most of his childhood in Nickerson Garden projects. He relocated to Indianapolis Indiana in 2006. At a very young age Samuel knew he wanted to be an artist. Now he’s a traditional painter with over a decade of experience. He does not only create unique art pieces but he also works on murals. His most recent mural was the Citizens Energy Group’s DigIndy art project in 2022. He created a large scale mural of “Tlaloc” the Aztec god of rain. Working on becoming an established artist, Samuel spends most of his days perfecting his craft. In the future he sees himself exhibiting more artwork throughout his city and the country.
